Welcome to my book report on The One and Only Ivan by Katherine
Applegate
The book "The One and Only Ivan" is filled with great ups and hard downs like a mountain. Ivan is an easy-going silverback gorilla who lives in a quiet shopping mall. He has four walls, a tree with a dangly tire swing, and his best friends Stella and Bob. Ivan thinks he has a chill life because he can watch movies and shows while eating yogurt raisins. The easy-going gorilla makes art, and he really does have talent. On an ordinary day, Ivan meets an elephant, a baby elephant named Ruby, and they gradually become best friends who desperately need a new home.
